The bathroom floor in our room had a small area of something clear hardened on the tile with a small piece of paper stuck to the floor. In most of our rooms, the baseboards and around the edges of the carpet looked as if they had not been cleaned in over a year. In one room, the garbage had not been emptied from the previous guests.

However, that was not true of most of our rooms. There were several couples in our group, and on one floor, the rooms were fine. I know Covid has caused a lot of problems for the hotel industry, but this lack of cleanliness is totally unacceptable. I gave two stars because the hotel had hot water, and the towels, though very small, were clean and replaced upon request. She gave it to me and I said, 'Thanks, didn't mean to bother you' and she didn't say either 'no bother' or 'no problem' or 'You're Welcome'? Not a big deal I guess but how hard is it to say those words? All these words sound negative, and some of them are, but I WOULD go back-before 15-20 more years pass. The housekeeper was cleaning the room next to ours so I stepped out in the hallway and politely asked her for a bar of soap and a roll of toilet paper. I guess since Covid housekeeping doesn't come in the room but is supposed to give you what you need. No mini fridge but I *think* maybe if we asked we could get one? Not sure if it would be free or if we'd have to pay. The bathtub had no plug but I went in to Philadelphia MS Walmart to get one so it then worked. The toilet ran constantly but thankfully it was not heard in the bedroom. My bedside lamp only had one working bulb instead of two. The bed was pretty comfortable (not so much the pillows) and the A/C worked good (thank God since it was 98+ outside). We had a room for two nights (during the week) at Golden Moon.
